DRAMA IN THE UINTA MOUNTAINS

For a recent project, the charge was to essentially take a newly purchased home and give it coziness, personality, drama, and furnish it with beautiful pieces that can stand up to the client’s blue chip art collection. Today, I'm sharing a few details with you as we look forward to sharing more soon.

This particular residence is located in the rolling fields of Kamas Valley, on a bench that looks north toward the Uinta mountains. The project inspiration really came from the homeowner’s art collection - some from Eastern Europe and some from Northern Europe. I found fabrics and wallcoverings that bring in texture and warmth, many are similarly represented in a few of the clients' paintings. The earthy tones bring a lovely blend of grit and elegance, to stand up to the surrounding landscape while asserting a sense of refinement and comfort.

If I had not filled a trailer from Round Top, TX we would not have been able to finish it off. So many of the accessories we procured helped pull the client's lovely things together. The details truly help make any project feel singular and special. I look forward to sharing more soon!
